Illustration, or communication through images, is the most powerful and effective way to speak to anyone in any culture and any language.
the illustration that is made is driven by the will to say and touch.
There are many well-elaborated and wonderful illustrations. but I believe in the illustration that doesn´t seek splendor, but rather a language that reaches the soul of those who see it.

in the world we live in, we seek maximum perfection in the image, whatever it may be, but in seeking this perfection, we forget the main thing: the purity and lightness of an image made to show or say something, and not to please standards.

with this thought, i begin the presentation of my portfolio with my project:
does a stork fit in a box?
a foldable book that speaks through the body parts of the storks , what really fits in a box?
my atelier in biebrich is located opposite a meadow on the rhine river where storks that nest in the neighboring cities come to feed. and they cross the skies when flying back to their nests.

my neighborhood is a social district with immigrants from over 17 languages. my work is to speak through the stork about belonging, about what a nest is and its importance, about immigration and differences.
